fourin is a lookup over versioned public files, not a graph of suspected influence.
FARA bulk CSVs from the Justice Department, OFAC SDN and ALT from Treasury, the Consolidated Screening List, DoD 1260H notices, DHS UFLPA when the page is fetchable, and Education Department Section 117 workbooks.
Designation matching is exact after diacritic, punctuation, and legal-form normalization. Person names are also indexed in swapped order because OFAC writes “CHEMEZOV, Sergei” and FARA writes “Sergei Chemezov”. Every person match is caveated. A name is not an identifier.
Dollar amounts are read from Supplemental Statement PDFs with pdftotext at build time, never in the request path. A per-client split is shown only when it reconciles to the filing’s own total.
